Why do I need a coach?

A coach brings you a skillful partner to support you to unfold to the person you intend to be or you are given to be.

He enables you to return to your true self through a “structured” way of inquiry and development that is designed specially for you. He can enable you to see aspects of your life or situation with a lens which you may otherwise miss or not think of.

Coaches can also enable you to accept and appreciate parts of you which you may ignore otherwise. As a result, he enables you to bring your whole self to the world.

How do we improve in the face of complexity? Dr Atul Gawande, a surgeon, has studied this question with a surgeon's precision.

He shares what he's found to be the key: having a good coach to provide a more accurate picture of our reality, to instill positive habits of thinking, and to break our actions down and then help us build them back up again. "It's not how good you are now; it's how good you're going to be that really matters," Gawande says.
